How do I join Midgar?
Just start! You can check out our quick-start guide over in rules, and then just get to playing! A civilian starter character generally doesn’t need any type of application.
Can I be Sephiroth or Cloud?
Short answer: No. Longer Answer: Not really, but it’s not impossible. Canon characters are treated as cameo’s, more or less, and are RPed by established players in the community to provide storylines. We try to focus entirely on original characters here in Midgar!
What is materia used for?
Materia is used in our combat system– you have to own the physical item in order to use it in either DS or RPC. Don’t worry, you don’t necessarily have to buy it, you can receive it free from factions and events.
What about avatar types?
Humans and most furries (along with hybrids) are generally just fine! Take a peak at our Style Guide for more in-depth information!
