About this GM: I’m an easy going guy, for the most part. I grew up a very shy little man, but time and experience has led me to being far more outspoken and blunt, which is often mistaken by idiots for assholishness. I grew up in the country outside Tallahassee (about a 45 minute drive) and have a great love for the outdoors
I grew up in the 80’s and my first video game system was the Magnavox 5000, which was basically just a fancy pong game. I got ahold of one of my uncles Atari systems and I got hooked on Pitfall. That Christmas my dad bought me my own Atari 7800. Donkey Kong, Mario Bros., Dark Chambers, BallBlazer, Pole Position, Food Fight! and more. I was hooked.
I was a total Nintendo fanboy from the NES, to the SNES and N64. I traded my N64 for a Playstation after watching my cousin play Final Fantasy VII and the rest is history there.
I joined FFVII RP on AOL in 1997 and began RPing Cait Sith. Later I switched to Cid and Rufus simultaneously, though Cid was my main for the longest time. I eventually retired the old pilot and started playing Rufus exclusively. I ran the Neo Shinra Guild (which had over 200 members at it’s peak) and I also ran various other guilds under Cid or Rufus over the years. and served as a GM and Executive Officer for the MGA, WoB, F3 and RTP forums before switching to Second Life Midgar in early 2007.
I typically spend my days working my day job. When I’m off I enjoy chilling with my friends and taking trips. I love going to the beach, tubing down the river or just heading out to the movies. I’m a poor artist, a mediocre writer and a talented voice actor. My dream is to one day make a career out of my voice. I’ve provided voices for a student animated film thus far and am currently gearing up to appear in some live action college films, including a short film based on a script I wrote myself.
When I do have time to sit at home I enjoy reading webcomics such as Player Vs. Player and Penny Arcade and listening to any podcasts the creators may churn out. My favorite television shows (some of which I can only watch through DVD these days) include Mystery Science Theater 3000, the Tom Baker era of Dr. Who, Mythbusters, Survivorman, How It’s Made and House, M.D.
I love 80’s music and my favorite band is the Scotland based rock band, Big Country. My favorite song is their signature one, “In A Big Country.” I also like Elton John. What? Chicken and pizza are my favorite foods. I have an affinity for abandoned buildings. I love taking pictures. My socks never smell. I’m currently trying to lose weight by portioning my food and cutting my intake and exercising. I enjoy good barbecue. Sometimes when I poot I turn around to smell it. I like apples. I hate oranges. I have vandalized property in the past. I love to hug a fine woman. My grandma used to make me grilled cheese sandwiches and we’d watch Mama’s Family. I’ve never been in a car accident. I like to say the word pie, but hate pie itself.
